5 Insanely Easy Dinner Ideas That Do Not Include Gerber Graduates 5 Insanely Easy Dinner Ideas That Do Not Include Gerber Graduates

Are you using Gerber Graduates for dinner because you are exhausted at the end of the day and don't have the energy to cook a meal?  Yeah, I get that.  But then you see the news that a woman found an industrial staple in her baby's Gerber Graduates meal and you read about the insane salt content and now you are feeling really guilty about feeding this crap to your baby.

Oh what is a lazy exhausted mother to do?

Why not try these really simple dinner ideas - appropriate for babies & toddlers that are experienced in the world of finger foods (as early as 9 months through 24 months).

5 Easy Meals
  1. Easy Platter for Self Feeders: Canned cannellini beans, cheese cubes, quartered grapes

  2. Noodles with Butter & Salt: Elbows, spirals and penne are good for older babies/toddlers. Orzo or Stars works for younger babies

  3. Rice & Peas: Cook up some rice (instant rice in a bag works fine), throw in some frozen peas, add some butter & salt and you are done.

  4. Frozen waffles with sliced banana

  5. Melted Cheese on Bread: Place sliced cheese on bread, put in toaster oven on a tray, put on high toast setting or broil to melt the cheese.

Since I am only cooking for the 2 of us, I love to make whole wheat pasta with fresh tomatoes (chopped up and sauteed in olive oil for a few minutes) and cut up buffalo mozzerella. My daughter LOVES it! :)
