Deborah Badran, CD(DONA),HH,CST,is a labor support and postpartum doula and founder of Celebration of Life in New York City. Celebration of Life reflects Deborah's philosophy about birth. Her calling is to make every effort to support the laboring couple in realizing their ideal birth. Her passion and dedication to celebrating the sacredness of birth is revealed in all aspects of her work.

She received her doula training at Seattle Midwifery School. She is also a holistic healer, counselor and cranio-sacral therapist. Deborah integrates her healing abilities and therapeutic skills into her doula practice for enhanced pain relief, comfort and relaxation.

Her labor skills include breathing techniques, vocalization, comfort positions, birth ball, massage, coaching, information and advocacy for the couple. She also offers a comprehensive program of prenatal counseling, fear and stress release work, maternal body fitness, labor preparation bodywork and postpartum "getting back into shape" bodywork.
