songs for seeds summer concert series

This summer, apple seeds will host an 8-week concert series with a special songs for seeds performance and all-day open play in the safe, fun and clean indoor playground. Named "Best Kids’ Music Class 2010" by New York Magazine, songs for seeds is a rockin' music class that encourages kids to sing, play instruments (from drums and guitars to pianos and accordions) along with a live, three-piece band, as well as dance and move as much as possible. Kids travel around the world experiencing music and language from a new country every week. The band creates well known nursery rhymes through art and song, performs Top 40 adult contemporary music, does magic tricks as a way to practice numbers and counting, and spins the animal wheel to reinforce animal names and sounds. Kids will go home singing songs that you will like as much as them.

Concerts are every Sunday from July 11th until August 29th, starting at 11:30am to 12:15pm. Tickets for each concert are $20/adult, $10/child (non-members); $10/adult, $5/child (members). Prices include an all-day play pass for the day of show to apple seeds, a 15,000 square foot indoor family playspace.

apple seeds is located at 10 West 25th St. (between Broadway and 6th). Call 212.792.7590 to purchase tickets or for more information.
