Hi! Thank you for your interest in my website.

I had the idea for TinyPlayground shortly after giving birth to my first daughter, Alexandra, in August 2006.  I had so many questions as a new mom and for answers I would turn to close friends who had their first babies shortly before me. My friends and I would email around little mom tips, links to baby products we liked, names of pediatricians and obstetricians, stores that had good sales, etc. I thought it would be great to move all this helpful information from my inbox to the web where it could help other new moms.

So I used my computer programming background to build TinyPlayground in order to publish all kinds of great information for new moms.  My website is not as comprehensive as the big sites like BabyCenter or iVillage - nor is it trying to be - but the tips, lists and product recommendations can be trusted since it all comes from the personal experiences of myself, my close friends & an ever expanding network of real moms.
